Vassileva, who has been practicing medicine since 1986, was born and
raised in Bulgaria and is fluent in both the English and Russian
language. She is a graduate of the Medical University in Sofia,
Bulgaria and has worked as an assistant professor for more than 12
years teaching Physiology to medical students.
In 1998, Dr. Vassileva moved to the United States and worked for two years as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta, where she received a grant from the National Kidney Foudnation for kidney research.
In 2002, Dr. Vassileva moved to Lawton, Oklahoma where she
graduated from the University Of Oklahoma Family Medicine Residency
Dr. Vassileva is Board Certified-American Board of Family Medicine.
